Backyard Bougie

Bougie Booking

Sell the room by the table. Pay nothing for it.

Table reservations and ticketed seating for restaurants, wineries and event venues. Guests pick their table on a map of your room and pay before they arrive, and your venue pays us nothing.

What It Costs

Nothing, for the venue.

No subscription, no per-cover fee, no setup fee, no contract. A full room costs you the same as an empty one.

Guests pay a booking fee of $1.50 plus 3.5% per person, shown to them before they pay. Card processing stays in your own Stripe account, exactly as it is today.

You pay Bougie Booking

$0

Most booking platforms charge venues a subscription, a per-cover fee, or both.

Figures are from each company's own published pricing page, checked September 2026, for the plans that sell prepaid tickets. Plans and fees change, so confirm with the provider. Card processing is not included; with Bougie Booking it comes out of your own Stripe account, as on any card sale.

How It Works

Pick a table. Hold it. Pay up front.

  1. Pick a table

Guests see your room as it is — the stage, the bar, the patio — and choose their table on the map or from a list.

  2. Hold it for ten minutes

A hold takes the table off the map for everyone else while they fill in their details. A countdown keeps it honest.

  3. Pay up front

Checkout is Stripe’s. A booking is confirmed only once it is paid, so the room can never be oversold.

  4. Check in at the door

Guests give a name. Your door list finds them on a phone, marks them in, and shows what they prepaid.

FAQ

The questions venues ask.

What does it cost the venue?

Nothing. There is no subscription, no per-cover fee, no setup fee and no contract. Guests pay a booking fee of $1.50 plus 3.5% per person, shown to them before they pay. Card processing comes out of your own Stripe account, as it does on any card sale.

Does it replace your reservation system?

No. It sits beside your reservation system. Keep your everyday reservations where they are and use Bougie Booking for the nights that sell by the table or the seat: live music, ticketed dinners, winery events.

Where does the money go?

Straight into your own Stripe account. You are the merchant of record, so payouts, refunds and disputes are yours, and your staff can refund a guest or cancel a show from the app.

Can we keep tables for walk-ins?

Yes. Each show can hold tables back from online sale, and no-shows are released on a timer you set.

How do we get started?

Tell us about your room. For now we set each venue up by hand — the floor plan, the first show and your Stripe account — so you are ready before your first guest books.
