Diamond Dirtbags
A donated build for a 501(c)(3) youth baseball program in El Dorado County: online registration with waivers, payment plans and scholarship review, Stripe payments and tax-receipted donations, and a CRM that runs parent communication, in place of the team app the club had been using.

Diamond Dirtbags is a 501(c)(3) youth baseball program serving players in grades 3 through 12 across Placerville, Cameron Park, El Dorado Hills, Shingle Springs, Diamond Springs and Pollock Pines. It runs on volunteer coaches and donated time. We built its website as a donation.
The Challenge
The club was running registration and parent communication through a third-party team app, apart from its payments and its public website. The club also needed a public face that explained the program to new families and gave local businesses a real reason to sponsor it.
What We Built
- Online registration, a step-by-step flow for parents that covers each division’s fee, sibling and coach-issued promo codes, a three-payment plan for the divisions that offer one, and a scholarship request on every form
- Waivers and a code of conduct, signed as part of registration, so the paperwork is done before the first practice
- Stripe Checkout for registration fees and donations, with tax receipts for donors
- Tryout scheduling and an interest list, so families can get in line before a season opens
- A CRM behind it all. Every registration, donation and enquiry lands in the club’s CRM, which runs parent communication for practices, games, weather and emergencies. Registrations are saved first and then synced, so a family’s sign-up is never lost if the CRM is briefly unreachable
- Rosters that export to GameChanger, which the club kept for game-day scheduling. We replaced only what needed replacing
- The Dirtbags Dispatch, a news section for season updates and sponsor mentions, plus a sponsorship page with jersey placement and banner recognition for local businesses
- Privacy done properly. A self-hosted consent banner, and a plain-English privacy page that names exactly who receives a family’s data and why
The Result
One system for the whole season, from interest list to tryout to registration, payment, waiver and parent updates, run by volunteers without a developer in the loop. Registration and parent communication now live on the club’s own site instead of a rented app, and new families can see the program, the coaches and the path from grade 3 to high school before they ever sign up.
Every site we build is wired to the business behind it.
