Marni’s is a working venue — live music, billiards, sports, food, and a real Orange County crowd. The brand had the vision and the in-room experience, but the back-of-house systems were duct tape. Bands were booked over text. Reservations lived in someone’s head. The website couldn’t keep up with what was actually happening on any given night. And the operational compliance pieces — contractor paperwork, 1099 follow-up, policies — were stacked on a “we’ll get to it” list.
What We Built
- Custom Astro website with a brand-true design system, sub-second load times, and the editorial polish the venue deserved
- Band booking takeover — full talent operations including performance agreements, social activation requirements, code of conduct, independent contractor declarations, and 1099 follow-up at year-end
- Billiards reservation system deployed in GoHighLevel with Stripe-powered deposits, automated confirmations, and SMS reminders
- Live ESPN API integration on the website — game schedules and live event tracking pulled in automatically so the site always shows what is on the screens that night
- Online merch shop launched as a fulfillment channel for branded apparel and accessories
- Full legal stack authored and deployed — Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, SMS Policy, and Accessibility Statement
- Staff-managed menu and events workflow — a JSON-prompt-driven Google Sheets system that lets venue staff update menu items, prices, and event details without touching the website code
The Result
A venue brand with a working operating system underneath it. The website reflects what is actually happening tonight. The talent pipeline runs on agreements instead of texts. And the staff can update the menu without filing a support ticket.
